BumpIntoMe matching criteria include age, gender and location within a 3 mile radius. Additionally, you are matched according to your rankings of preferences like ethnicity, education & fitness levels. The app works to prioritizes your top ranking selection. For example, if you rate education level as your most important preference, you will be matched first with other members who share a very similar educational background to yours.

Why are member profile pictures not featured?

BumpIntoMe is the only service that starts with an in-person meeting first—so members know right away if the match is right. We set up speed-dates at local, nearby coffee shops offering singles the chance to meet interesting, like-minded people in a more spontaneous & fun way. Completing the profile with your preferences ensures you will find the closest possible matches, while still meeting other singles in a more natural, organic way that mimics real-life serendipity!

Can I still “bump” other members outside of the timeframe established in my preferences?

You can “bump” other members at any time, regardless of the timeframe windows you initially selected during sign-up; however, incoming alert “bumps” from other members will not be received outside of the timeframe parameters you set.

What safety features are included?

BumpIntoMe is a ‘coffee-shop’ app, providing a mutually agreed upon, public location to meet other interested singles. If you wish to discontinue communication with another member at any time, block that member by simply deleting the messaging thread in the app messaging feature. Once that happens, you will never “bump” that person again.
